The British Museum’s National Programmes team, with the generous support of the Vivmar Foundation, is hosting a free one-day conference on Monday 3 September 2018 in partnership with the Digital Preservation Coalition, exploring the subject of digital content in museums.
Museums and Digital Memory was designed to align with the Museum Futures programme. During the early programme development, through the process of researching skills needs in the heritage sector and discussions with museum partners, it became clear that digital preservation was an area that many museums were interested in cultivating through partnership and skills sharing. Several Museum Futures supervisors will be speaking at the conference and many of the partners will be attending.
Registration for the conference is now closed but more information will be posted to the event website.
